Recyclable Capsules
Did you know that every component of Mokador Diva capsules is 100% recyclable?
The coffee capsules can be easily separated to put in the recycling bin after use: the film, filter and capsule body can be disposed of in the plastic recycling bin, while coffee grounds can be disposed of as organic waste.
Useful advice: you can use coffee grounds as a natural fertiliser for your plants.
Drink capsules, on the other hand, can be disposed of entirely in the plastic recycling bin, as no product residue remains inside them after use.
In designing these very special capsules, we used just 1.8 g of plastic.

Compostable capsules
If you're looking for an even more sustainable option for your coffee break, you simply must try our 100% compostable capsules.
What does compostable mean?
A material is considered “compostable” when, after being broken down, whether naturally or industrially, it transforms into compost, which is used as fertiliser in agriculture or for repotting flowers and plants.
These capsules are made of 100% compostable material that is DIN CERTCO SEEDLING certified, and can be disposed of entirely as organic waste. The 100% compostable capsules are currently available in the Sophia and Marilyn flavours. 100% sustainable, without sacrificing the pleasure of a quality espresso in every cup.
